John Lewis & partners ~ Editor (TECH)

 

I worked as an editor on the John Lewis & Partners account at Sunday. As technology editor I worked closely with the client from briefing through to delivery on both campaigns such as Christmas, Off to Uni and Smart Home as well as business as usual content.

I produced both print and digital content, including collateral for in store, in national press and own channel online. This included content strategy, content ideation, pitching, creating and presenting responses to briefs to multilevel stakeholders and at cross-agency meetings, and overseeing the content production including commissioning, writing, editing and amends. I also wrote scripts for product and category videos.

I also worked on pitches for new business within the account. This included 360 content strategy, content ideation and building decks.

As content became increasingly digitally focused, and I worked with the client’s digital content strategy consultant to finesse an SEO strategy for the technology area of the business. This resulted in a clearer brand message and a stronger authority across consumer tech for the client.
